If you’ve talked to me about hip hop in the last year or two, you’ve definitely heard me gush about Shabazz Palaces. It’s no secret I think they’re the freshest act under the sun, so if you haven’t heard them, it’s time to start doing your homework. Suffices to say, this is the 2K10′s project of Ishmael Butler, a.k.a. Butterfly from Digable Planets.

I’ve been jamming these guys so much, I couldn’t be more excited to catch them at this year’s Sasquatch. Hip hop tends to be very hit or miss live, but if it’s anything like this EP when I see them, I’m going to eat it up. This sounds great.
